At Variety – the Children’s Charity Tasmania, we make sure children who are sick, experiencing disadvantage or living with disability can access the care and opportunities they deserve.

From funding essential equipment to opening doors in education, sport, and the arts, we’re here to make sure every child can participate, belong and thrive. Through our grants and programs, we give children the freedom to move, learn and dream big, no matter their circumstance.
Individual Grants
We provide life-changing support to children and families facing physical, mental, or emotional challenges.
Variety’s Community Grants fund inclusive equipment, technology and resources for schools and community groups, creating more accessible spaces for children who need it most.
Variety Scholarships support talented young people living with disability, chronic illness or financial hardship by funding coaching, equipment and essential resources to help them pursue their goals and reach their potential.
Variety delivers inclusive programs, camps and school initiatives that build confidence, skills and belonging, while promoting disability awareness and inclusion in the community.
While the individual programs we provide may not be unique, the breadth of our support for children is unmatched.
